Story:
When Crown Princess Ingrid 24 May 1935 married Crown Prince Frederik, she got the brooch of his father in memory of his mother, Princess Margaretha of Sweden, who died in 1920 only 38 years old.
Shortly after Princess Margaret's birth in 1940 several prominent jewellers in Denmark produced daisy series in silver with enamel. Anton Michelsen, Volmer Bahn, Bernhard Hertz and Jysk Emblem factory made daisy jewellery after Queen Margrethe's birth. Since then some stopped while Anton Michelsen is taken over by George Jensen and Bernhard Hertz has taken over the company Lund Copenhagen.
They all should be considered real and common to Daisy-Marguerite jewellery is that they are variations with inspiration from the original piece that was manufactured in Sweden.
